Senior Business Development Associate (Sales)

You shall play a key role in Business Development Team for Alpha Plus Technologies and shall be an integral link between the prospects and Management, to device business and pricing strategy, sales-pitch, avenues to enter new markets, etc. Your primary responsibility will be to follow up the assigned leads, arrange timely meetings with the prospective B2B clients and negotiate with an aim to result each lead into a deal for the company’s products and services. In this role you will interact externally with prospective clients and internally with the Products, Client Support Team, Research Team & Senior Management.

We are looking out for people who are street smart, patient, risk taker, organized and don’t forget to bring their personality to our office. Our Senior Associate should posses excellent written, presentation and conversation skills. They should be self-starter and have a proven track record of revenue generation.   • Follow up the assigned leads and arrange timely meetings with the prospective B2B clients
  • Generate leads for new business opportunities from existing & new clients basis field experience
  • Research the dynamics of prospective client institutions alongside creation of project strategies
  • Gain in-depth functional knowledge of assigned products so as to demonstrate features and functionalities of the assigned products to potential leads
  • Prepare and submit quotes to the prospective leads
  • Undertake active and timely follow-up for early closing of deal
  • Handle negotiations and finalize business deals
  • Drive forward company’s business growth objectives by surpassing assigned Business Targets and achieving Business Targets of assigned team (in cases of leadership responsibilities only)
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities and alliances in areas related to Core Business Development
  • Assist / Supervise team members in product presentations when needed
  • Assist / Supervise team members in project planning and strategy execution
  • Track market intelligence particularly relating to new opportunities and competition, related to company’s products
  • Assist the Manager in devising product pricing strategies for clients across verticals
  • Provide insights to the Marketing Team for greater product visibility basis field experience
  • Assist in project supervision, conduct periodic reviews of the team and report the progress to the Manager / Department Head


  • Graduates / Professional Degree-holders / Post Graduates desirous of a career in Business Development of IT Software Solutions / Services
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Business Development OR Sales of IT Software Solution / Services
  • You shall have an added advantage if you have prior experience of engaging with Mid and High-profile clients of BFSI sector for IT Software Solutions / Services and understand facets of Banking / Financial sectors.
