Associate – Inside Sales

You shall play a key role in the Business Development Team for Alpha Plus Technologies. You would focus on the early part of the business development cycle, such as researching target leads and converting them into prospects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Gain in-depth functional knowledge of assigned products and map to potential client needs.
  • Lead Generation and Qualification: Identifying potential customers through market research and outbound outreach via calls, emails, and social media. Research target leads and key decision-makers.
  • Client Communication: Making calls and sending emails to potential clients to introduce new products and services.
  • Setting appointments: Follow-up and secure the first initiation meeting / discover call.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales progress, and customer information using CRM software / Excel.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, business development, and other internal teams to ensure a cohesive client experience.
  • Support marketing activities with relevant content creation.
  • Brand Representation: Act as a representative of the company at industry events, conferences, etc.
  • Market Awareness: Track industry trends, events, and emerging marketing opportunities based on the campaign findings and market research
  • Track market intelligence, particularly relating to new opportunities and competition, related to the company’s products
  • Any other roles and responsibilities as may be suggested by the Manager & Department Head

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Graduates / Professional Degree-holders desirous of a career in Business Development of IT Software Solutions / Services
  • Strong Research ability
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening
  • Result-Oriented: Preference to candidates who have demonstrated success in meeting sales goals
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines

ADDED ADVANTAGE

  • Prior experience in lead generation, market research, and inside sales (internship counts)
  • Banking and Financial Services experience
